JOIN OUR VOLUNTEER FAMILY!

Preparations are already heating up for the 11th Anniversary Sonoma Valley Film Festival, and staffers are now welcoming members of the community to join the core team of INTERNS and VOLUNTEERS that pull off the annual celebration of film, food and wine.

“As an official Festival intern or volunteer, you're a part of a special team that makes the Festival come alive,” explains Festival Operations Director Jesse Lindow. “Whether you’re interested in developing career skills in marketing, development, and events – or just lending a valuable hand during the Festival - our interns and volunteers represent the spirit of our wonderful community!”

Our supporters make up the front line in developing this world-class experience and interacting with all of our attendees – locals, out-of-towners, filmmakers, sponsors, industry guests, media and celebrities. Volunteers receive complimentary vouchers to see films throughout the Film Festival, and are treated to special kick-off rally and “thank you” parties, as well as a private film screening at the Sebastiani Theatre. And interns also receive valuable real-world work experience leading up to their official involvement throughout the Festival.

Intern positions are unpaid and require a weekly commitment of 6-8 hours, with full supervision and interaction with our experienced staffers. School credits and recommendations will be provided, where applicable. Positions include:

* Development Associate (now through mid-April)
* Marketing & Public Relations Associate (now through mid-April)
* Green Team Manager (now through mid-April)
* Programming Assistant (February through mid-April)
