Film Submissions for the 16th annual Sonoma International Film Festival, April 10-14, 2013 opened on Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Films may be submitted in one of 4 categories: Features, Documentaries, World Cinema, and Shorts.

OPEN CALL FOR ENTRIES
  • Feature Film
    Live-action or animated feature-length fiction films of any theme or subject.
  • Documentary
    Documentary films over 30 minutes on a variety of non-fiction subjects. From hard-hitting exposes and deeply personal stories to humorous observations of everyday events.
  • World Cinema
    Feature films from around the world, exploring a diversity of cultural perspectives, visual styles and narrative modes.
  • Short Film
    Works under 30 minutes long (give or take a few minutes) including world cinema, alternative, and student films.
